MOM-IN-CHIEF: MICHELLE OBAMA

She is the perfect blend of being a perfect mother as well as perfect worker”. Michelle Obama is titled as the “First lady of Fashion” by ABC News, as she is always highlighted in terms of her costumes, there is much more beyond her shoes and bags to get highlighted. She essays a role of a perfect model for today’s generation of mothers to balance work as well as family. As she admits too, she even faces issues to make tough choices between work and family. Focusing on her self titled role of being a mom-in-chief, she seems to be a woman who knows and understands her priorities exactly. It takes a tremendous amount of zeal as well as self-confidence to admit family comes first, when one decides to down shift her career.
Nowadays, in spite of the risk involved in being a working mother, many women do continue with the mommy track. Infact, Michelle Obama choosing to do the same on a public platform shall inspire the mothers today to value their decision. The author Jamie Wolf of the book titled Mom-in-chief: How Wisdom from the workplace Can Save Your Family from Chaos, that is inspired from the life of Michelle Obama simply concentrates on the fact that Michelle being a mother means being a leader, an attribute that mothers often overlook in their parenting cycle. She directly connects to the notion of leadership beyond the walls of corporate suites.
Therefore, with her Ivy League credentials and professional accomplishments, she drives home the point that old school feminist notion of being everything to the people in her life.

Very good article.
the fact (as you mension) her being a mother, should automatically be categorized as a thoughtful leader... it does not matter whether you use it to describe a family, or a great nation.
